What you'll learn
This programme is aimed at doctors, nurses, pharmacists and all healthcare professionals with a minimum of a relevant bachelor’s degree and a keen interest in enhancing their career in medical education.
Participants on the programme will be recognised as effective clinical supervisors and motivators of student learning through the application of adult learning theory, evidence-based curriculum development and teaching, use of technology in education, assessment design and research methodology.
Second Class Honours Bachelor Degree in a clinical discipline (non-standard applications are welcome and assessed individually)
Students are required to have previous teaching experience and have the opportunity to teach/instruct in a clinical or academic setting throughout the programme.
Proficiency in English: High B2 on the (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) CEFRL when awarded by a recognised awarding body.
An average score of 6.5 on the overall components of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and a minimum of 6.0 in each band on the Academic Version.
65% on the Cambridge Education Group English Language Assessment (equivalent to IETLS 6.5)
