What you'll learn

On this MSc, participants will:

  • Study modules on Contemporary Issues in International HRM, Strategy, Leadership and the Business Context, and Managing the Employee Lifecycle.
  • Develop a profound understanding of HR’s fundamental role and responsibilities within a business.
  • Explore leading research to analyse how and why HR policies and practices differ across different cultures.
  • Gain an acute awareness of how external environments can impact organisations and HR strategies.
  • Investigate the theories underpinning effective employee lifecycles – from talent management strategies to performance reward activities.

Entry Requirements:

  • A minimum high 2:1 (65%) honours degree in a social science-related area and at least three years’ relevant post-first-degree work experience.
  • Please note that if you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may still be considered. You’ll need to demonstrate significant relevant work experience or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a master’s or PGDip).
  • To study at King’s, it is essential that you can communicate in English effectively in an academic environment. You are usually required to provide certification of your competence in English before starting your studies.
